&lt;div&gt;&#039;&#039;&#039;Douglas Clark Kenney&#039;&#039;&#039; ([[10 December|December 10]], [[1947]]- [[29 August|August 29]], [[1980]]) was the co-author of &#039;&#039;[[Bored of the Rings (book)|Bored of the Rings]]&#039;&#039; along with longtime collaborator Henry Beard. He was a creative mastermind at, and a co-founder of &#039;&#039;National Lampoon&#039;&#039;. He wrote for the magazine, the radio program, the stage productions, comedy albums and the TV special &#039;&#039;Lemmings: Dead in Concert&#039;&#039; as well as the first film &#039;&#039;Animal House&#039;&#039;. He died falling off a cliff in Hawaii at the age of 33.&lt;br /&gt;
