The story and history surrounding the rise and fall of Ar- Pharazon leader( king of Numenor) is an interesting notion as the true downfall of the Men of the West was a consequence of Ar Parazons desire to rid the world of Sauron and conquer the Elfin lands .<br /> The intervention of Manwe to break the world and sink the Numeroean lands was interesting as the downfall of or the birth of the Atlantean myth and was an intrigueing thought to research . As an ex English literature major studying at American University I was emersed in the LOTR saga years ago and the writings of Christopher Tolkien are what seems to be a contnuation of his fathers epic saga.
