Charlie Vickers is an Australian actor. He portrayed Sauron in the Amazon Studios television series The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power.[1] He was unaware about the character’s true identity until the filming of the third episode.[2]

A lot of the subconscious work was a creating a human life for Halbrand. In order for Sauron to effectively portray Halbrand and deceive people, I think he would have to have a pretty comprehensive life mapped out.
