In Middle-earth Role Playing, Tulwang was a land on a peninsula west of Ciryatanor, north of Hyarn, and southeast of Far Harad.[1]

History

As the Chaialla woses were pushed away from their homeland in Chy by the migrations of Men, they dwelled in Tulwang during the first two decades of the Second Age. When Men later settled in Far Harad, the woses moved to what later became Hyarn by S.A. 20.[2]

Around S.A. 700, Númenor established embassies in Tulwang. It is in Tulwang that its fleet landed in T.A. 2280, when Tar-Ancalimon moved against the rebellious Akhôrahil of Ciryatanor.[2]

In T.A. 1399, the Army of the Southern Dragon attacked Tulwang in its first known campaign.[2] After centuries, the Army finally conquered the land in T.A. 1657. Tulwang later split apart in various petty kingdoms during the civil war of T.A. 2013.[3]

The Sun Lord Pon Ifta attacked Tulwang in T.A. 2224 and swiftly conquered it in T.A. 2229.[3]
