(Redirected from Lord of the Ring)

The Lord of the Ring is not Frodo, but the master of the Dark Tower of Mordor...

The Nazgul by Kenneth Sofia

Lord of the Ring or Lord of the Rings was a title for Sauron, the master of the One Ring. The singular form appeared twice when Peregrin Took tried to apply it to Frodo Baggins, but the Wizard Gandalf corrected him.[1] The plural form appeared thrice: once spoken by Gandalf in the aforementioned conversation, a second time by Glorfindel during the Council of Elrond,[2] and a third time by Frodo while writing the Red Book of Westmarch.[3]
