Matthew Stewart is a fantasy artist who has created illustrations based on J.R.R. Tolkien's Legendarium, both independently[2] and for official works such as The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game,[3][4][5][6][7][8][9] The Lord of the Rings: Tales of Middle-earth[10][11][12][13][14][15][16][17][18] and Magic: The Gathering - The Hobbit.[19]
Stewart first read The Hobbit when he was in around the sixth grade.[20]
