
"A World for Children" is the title of the first literary review of The Hobbit. It was written by C.S. Lewis and originally published (anonymously) in The Times Literary Supplement on 2 October 1937 (p. 714). In 1972 the review was reprinted as the chapter "The Hobbit" in the collection Of This and Other Worlds.[1][2]
In 2013 this review was published in Image and Imagination: Essays and Reviews.
