Citadel Miniatures is a company producing miniature figurines for wargaming. Though once a separate company, it now mostly serves as a brand for Games Workshop.
In December 1984, Games Workshop announced that it had secured the rights to Lord of the Rings for Citadel, for use with Middle-earth Role Playing.[1] It would ultimate lose this license to Mithril Miniatures. Citadel would later on produce miniatures for The Lord of the Rings Strategy Battle Game and its successors.
