Dwimorberg - The Haunted Mountain

From Tolkien Gateway

Dwimorberg - The Haunted Mountain is the twenty-sixth scene of The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King and the thirty-third scene of The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King (extended edition). It was extended in the latter edition.

Differences

  • The line "The very warmth of my blood seems stolen away," spoken by Gimli in this scene is taken from a different context. In the books, it is Beregond who says this in a conversation with Pippin; this occurs after they each hear the faint cry of a Nazgûl while discussing the imminent threat of the destruction of Minas Tirith.[1]
