Eastern Eriador was a name used for the wild lands in the east of Eriador on the western side of the Misty Mountains. The Hobbit name Wilderland for the lands on the eastern side of the Misty Mountains, called Rhovanion in Sindarin, was often used to include Eastern Eriador.[1]
