Edda was a woman of Númenor who served as an assistant to Queen Regent Míriel during the Second Age. Edda was invented for The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power by Amazon Studios, and she is portrayed by New Zealand actress Carmel McGlone.
History
After Queen Regent Míriel suddenly wakes up from a dream about a Great Wave over Armenelos, she is greeted by Edda, who asks her what business she will attend to that day.[1] Later, shortly before Míriel departed on the expedition to Middle-earth, Edda came to inform the Queen Regent that her father, Tar-Palantir, desired to speak with her.[2]
