Eloeklo was a demon invented by Iron Crown Enterprises for Middle-earth Role Playing. In the First Age, he was Morgoth's guardian of the Iron Mountains. During the War of Wrath, a Noldo bound him to the cold northern wind and he lost the ability to hold a stable fana. Only in blizzards or when explicitly summoned could he somewhat regain his demon-shaped form, in which he carried a whip of barbed ice.[1]

After the Sack of Eregion, Celebring, a Noldo in service of Sauron, was tasked to pursue the Celebrimbor's brother Lindor. Lindor and his companions had fled into Forodwaith, and Celebring was able to forge an alliance with Eloeklo. While passing the Bleak Mountains, Lindor's company was attacked by the demon. Lindor challenged the demon in song, and while the Elf was defeated, the other refugees were able to escape and founded Evermist.[2]

Lindor's frozen body still stood on the peak on which Lindor fought the demon, which was afterwards known as Linnarthurras (S. “Peak of Indomitable Song”).

In the Third Age, Eloeklo would wage war on the Noldo of Evermist several times, rallying all the spirits of wind and cold. These were first and second Wind Wars, known respectively as the Long and Fell Winter in the South.[3]
