Villa, three members of the team at Elfenomeno.com, one of the leading Spanish-language websites about Tolkien. The content is based on the popular FAQs section of the website, created in 2002, which answered questions from its large community of users.
Additionally, the book features a preface by Eduardo Segura.
Content
The book explores various areas of knowledge about the legendarium created by J.R.R. Tolkien, answering questions about the creatures of Arda, Elves, Dwarves, Hobbits, and aspects that frequently raise queries among fans, such as the Rings of Power. Each "frequently asked question" is answered with thorough research, including quotes from Tolkien's books, letters, and any other relevant sources to find the answer (if one exists). It also includes a section of questions about Tolkien himself.
The book went on sale in October 2004, and Minotauro announced that the first edition sold out in less than a year, by June 2005.[1]It is currently unknown if Minotauro will publish new editions of the book.
