History
Léod was a Man of Rohan during the Third Age. He worked as a rancher and herdsman in the Westfold of Rohan.
Anticipating an attack on the capital of Edoras, Théoden King fled with the Rohirrim to the fortress of the Hornburg in Helm's Deep. When Aragorn reported that Saruman the White had sent a force of over ten thousand Uruk-hai to assail the Hornburg, Théoden ordered every man and strong boy able to bear arms to prepare for battle. Léod contemplated using an axe to fight. When the Uruks arrived, he fought in the Battle of the Hornburg.
