Ryan Gage is an English actor who portrayed Alfrid Lickspittle in The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug and The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies.[1] He was originally cast as Drogo Baggins, father of Frodo Baggins, but his role was later changed.[2] He was born in Coventry and went on to attend the BRIT School and later trained at Drama Centre London.[3]
