- I first looked in Robert Foster's Complete Guide, where the two locations are not distinguished (based on information given at that time). However, in The Lord of the Rings: A Reader's Companion was published a note from Tolkien's unfinished Index, indicating that he actually conceived of the two names as separate locations. I'll make some changes to the article.--Morgan 19:28, 30 August 2012 (UTC)
