Didn't it say in the Silmarillion that Finarfin did claim High Kingship of the Noldor in Aman when he left Fëanor? Narfil Palùrfalas

Family Tree

Why is the family tree under the House of Finwë different from most others on other pages? Is there a way to fix it? --DoctorWellington 22:41, 27 November 2017 (UTC)Reply[reply]

To which particular difference do you refer and how would you wish to change it? —NotACat 08:37, 28 November 2017 (UTC)Reply[reply]

It simply seems a little less developed in formatting in comparison to perhaps this or this. --DoctorWellington 19:49, 28 November 2017 (UTC)Reply[reply]

There appear to be no trees at all now, so the paragraph "The family tree given above..." no longer works. 172.70.175.143 20:24, 4 October 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Removed. Thanks!--LorenzoCB (talk) 20:33, 4 October 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Names

I'd suggest adding the orcish name "Golug" to the list of names. Unsigned comment by 79.184.252.131 (talk).

Recent changes

- The stable version: "It is also told that the Noldor were often called the Lispers by other native speakers of Quenya (such as the Vanyar), since they retained the medial "th" in their speech.[1]"

- You recent edits: "It is also told that the Noldor were often called the Lispers by other native speakers of Quenya (such as the Vanyar), since the Noldor generally did not retain the sound "th" [θ] in their speech.[2]"

You have completely altered the meaning of a sentence taken from the stable version, turning it into a statement that conveys the opposite. Regardless of whether your edit is accurate, could you please justify it?

PS: Don’t remove the mention that the letter Ñ is of Spanish origin — that’s an entirely objective fact. A footnote doesn't make sense in this context either. Namornen (talk) 06:24, 30 June 2025 (UTC)Reply[reply]
