Mental note: As this article is about the Realm, it should concern the geographic region and its changes through time. Robert Foster mentions that the Elves of Mirkwood were engaged in a war with some Dwarves. I guess it refers to an obscure referrence in The Hobbit. I always thought it referred to Menegroth and Nauglamir. Can somebody check? Sage 16:17, 4 October 2014 (UTC)
