The Burnings of the Westfold is the fifth scene of The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers and the sixth scene of The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers (extended edition). This scene was extended in the latter edition.
Synopsis
The Uruk-hai approach a village at Rohan. A woman sends her children by horse to Edoras to spread the bad news. As an off-voice, Saruman claims that "Rohan will fall".
