The Tall was a title used of Maedhros[1] the Son of Fëanor, Galdor of Dor-lómin,[2] Elendil of Númenor,[3] Húrin, Warden of the Keys of Minas Tirith,[4] and Boromir, son of Denethor II.[5]
Etymology
The Sindarin translation of "the Tall" is given as Orchal.[6]
