Grey chief or chief wolf
From these he had got news: the goblin patrols were still hunting with Wargs for the dwarves, and they were fiercely angry because of the death of the Great Goblin, and also because of the burning of the chief wolf’s nose and the death from the wizard’s fire of many of his chief servants
In the chapter, the leader of the pack is referred to as the "chief wolf" and the "grey chief". Therefore, you might want to consider using one of those terms rather than "Grey Warg", as that term could give the impression that the page is about a specific race of wargs instead of one individual warg. In addition to this, you might also want to consider expanding the Warg Matriarch page by making that adaptation of the "grey chief"/"chief wolf" character stay in a portrayal in adaptations section.Dour1234 (talk) 07:01, 25 October 2025 (UTC)
- Thank you for the feedback! Grey chief is good and chief wolf can be redirected there if that's good. When you talk about the matriarch bit, do you mean I should redirect that to the final page and put the content in the adaptations section? Paccyd33 (talk) 07:21, 25 October 2025 (UTC)
- By that, I mean that you could consider adding this page as the main section of the Warg Matriarch page (because that page was made first to preserve the edit history). The current stuff on the Hobbit trilogy can be turned into an adaptation section (this page on a certain other wiki is sort of what I mean, but not fully). Also, it seems like “chief wolf” should be used as it is used as a name (not a proper name) in the same way the “Great Goblin” is used in the same sentence.Dour1234 (talk) 07:53, 25 October 2025 (UTC)
- I see, thank you. Paccyd33 (talk) 09:15, 25 October 2025 (UTC)
