Larry Elmore (born 5 August 1948) is an American fantasy artist, most notable in helping to define the look of Dungeons and Dragons and contributing art and comics to the related Dragon Magazine.[1] He was contracted by Iron Crown Enterprises to create artwork for the Middle-earth Collectible Card Game.
Career
After getting a fine arts degree at Western Kentucky University, he became an early key staff artist at TSR. After leaving the company in 1987, as a freelancer he worked for many other games, such as Magic: The Gathering and the Middle-earth Collectible Card Game.[1]
