Dream Cards are new fan-made cards for the Middle-earth Collectible Card Game.

The Council of Elrond, a player-run organization set up as the new world coordinating body for the game after it ceased publication, has released several standardized sets of such cards. Following the example of Iron Crown Enterprises, these draw inspiration from the books and from Middle-earth Role Playing.[1][2]

Council of Elrond sets

Firstborn

Firstborn is a set focusing on the Elves. Its expansion symbol is .

New characters, items and locations introduced include Aegnor, Aranrúth, Ascarnil (character introduced in Empire of the Witch-king), Bladorthin, Caras Amarth (Elven halls introduced in Mirkwood: The Wilds of Rhovanion), the Gwaith-i-Mírdain, Rúmil, and Tharudan (character introduced in the Northwestern Middle-earth Gazetteer).[2]

Durin's Folk

Firstborn' is a set focusing on the Dwarves. Its expansion symbol is .

New characters, items and locations introduced include Amon Lanc, Bar-en-Ibûn (location introduced in Raiders of Cardolan), Barak-shathûr (location introduced in Northern Mirkwood), Borin, Carc, Dís, Flói, Frár, Frerin, Galion, the Long Marshes, Lóni, Norin, and the Ruins of Nogrod.[2]

The Necromancer

The Necromancer is a set focusing on Sauron and the Nazgûl. Its expansion symbol is .

New characters, items and locations introduced include Barad-wath (location introduced in Gorgoroth), Durthang, [Barad-wath]], Gaurhir (character introduced in Gorgoroth), Gûrthlug (character introduced in Gorgoroth), Leardinoth (character introduced in Brigands of Mirkwood), Núrnen, and Zurtak (character introduced in The Necromancer's Lieutenant).[2]

The Northern Waste

The Northern Waste is a set inspired by the The Northern Waste and the cards it included. Its expansion symbol is .

It introduces characters and locations from the sourcebook.[3][2]

Morgoth's Legacy

Morgoth's Legacy is a set inspired by the remnants of Morgoth's armies and fortresses in the Northern Waste. Its expansion symbol is .

It introduces a new Balrog, Durlach.[3][2]
