James Dundas-Grant (1896–1985) was a fellow Inkling with J.R.R. Tolkien. He was the commander of the Oxford University naval division, the cadets that followed classes at the University of Oxford.
Dundas-Grant was the son of British ear, nose, and throat surgeon Sir James Dundas-Grant.[1][2]
In his memoir, "From an 'Outsider'" (1979), Dundas-Grant shared reminiscences of J.R.R. Tolkien.
