Lída Holubová known also by her nickname Aegeri or Gnóme the Artist is a Czech artist and active member of the Tolkien community.

She resides in Prague and has a deep connection to Tolkien's world. She discovered Middle-earth through books from her local library as a child and was captivated by the depth and elaboration of Tolkien's work. She is a self-taught artist and was influenced by renowned illustrators like John Howe and Alan Lee. She collaborates and finds mutual inspiration with other Czech Tolkien artists, especially Matěj Čadil and Šárka Škorpíková.[1]

Her illustration Lúthien Tinúviel was featured on the cover of Mallorn (Issue 62, Winter 2021), the journal of the Tolkien Society. Her illustration Vingilot has been featured as the front cover artwork of the eponymous digital publication of The Tolkien Society.

In 2024 she illustrated the booklet for a musical album Místa Středozemě ("Places of Middle-earth") by Czech group Poetické hudební společenstvo.

Her illustration Tilion was featured as the cover art of Polish Tolkien journal Aiglos (Issue 26, Summer 2024).

Beyond her Tolkien-inspired art, one of her common subject have been illustrations of fungi. In 2025, her work was included in Fungi Fest – Houby v umění ("Fungi in Art"), a group exhibition at Zámek Veleslavín in Prague that showcased mushroom-themed art across diverse media.[2]
