Mike Reynold is a game designer who worked on the Middle-earth Collectible Card Game and The Lord of the Rings Trading Card Game.
History
Reynolds met John Curtis of Iron Crown Enterprises through a gaming convention they set up together, and was hired as a proofreader for Rolemaster in December 1993. He subsequently co-developed the Middle-earth Collectible Card Game with Coleman Charlton, and became its series editor. In that capacity, he wrote out the concepts set forth by the design team into the card text.
After leaving ICE, Reynolds worked for Decipher's Star Wars trading card game. For a while, he worked as a software engineer for EA games, but returned to Decipher after being laid off, where he then co-designed The Lord of the Rings Trading Card Game.[1][2]
