Peter Pracownik (19 October, 1951 - August 15, 2024) was a New Age / Fantasy artist and sculptor who was born in Bristol, England and lived most of his life in Glastonbury, before moving to North Cornwall later in life. He was an active artist for over 30 years since his professional debut in 1989, providing art for collectible cards, posters and music album covers.
In 1997, Pracownik created illustrations for the Lord of the Rings Tarot Deck & Card Game along with artist Terry Donaldson and Mike Fitzgerald. In 2012, Donaldson and Pracownik collaborated again on The Hobbit Tarot. He was commisioned to create a Lord Of The Rings poster for Wizard and Genius.
Pracownik had two children with his first wife, Julie:[1] Rebecca[1] and Oisin.[5] Peter and Julie separated in 1991.[1] He married artist Nicola-Claire Lydon in 2010[6] and they co-owned the Another Green World art gallery and store.[7]
