A simple workaround for the well-known glitch of this template is to include it under the Etymology section (where there is one). Normally there are no pictures under that section. Sage 22:29, 6 August 2014 (UTC)

Duplicate text

Is there a reason that the file name is repeated at the top of the template? i.e. [[:File:{{{1}}}]] and [[File:{{{1}}}]]

The one at the top prints the file name as a text link, and the center is supposed to be a file inclusion. See Aragorn#Etymology for an example of what it's supposed to look like. Unfortunately, it doesn't work properly in many of the other articles because the mp3 files won't embed properly and need to be reuploaded (as discussed on the Discord server). Also note that you can supply any label as a template parameter. The file name only appears as a default if a label is not supplied. --Pachyderminator 23:07, 30 May 2024 (UTC)

Gotcha, what about if we set it to not display any label if nothing is provided? This would eliminate the duplicates on the old files, and for the newly uploaded ones that can be embedded, the visitor can just click the speaker icon if they want to access the file page.
