I have a super simple question: I have some artwork to upload, and I was wondering how to add my name to the list of artists? I tried it myself but wasn't able to do it... Sorry, I'm good with a brush, not so good with the keyboard!

- Hello Francesco. In order to add an artist to Category:Images by artist you must create a category for the artist first, and then add it to the image (here you have it). Same if you want to include the image in a gallery. Please, if you are going to upload more of your beautiful art, include your name first in the file names. Also, could you please send an email to hyarion

- Creating the copyright information and category can definitely be a little confusing the first time. Like Lorenzo suggested, feel free to e-mail me with your name and an illustration you'd like to upload and I can do the grunt work, after which it'll be much more straight-forward for you to upload subsequent images. I noticed that while some of my favourite current Tolkien artists had their art published in the Tolkien Gateway (for instance Matěj Čadil or Lída Holubová) it probably hasn't been updated for quite some time, so many of their lovely new pieces that were shown elsewhere on the internet are missing here. --ElwingNinque (talk) 09:36, 13 October 2023 (UTC)
- Feel free to upload any! But I regularly scour both DeviantArt and Artstation (even Tumblr on occasion) in search for cool new art, and haven't stumbled upon any new works by these two you mentioned. - IvarTheBoneless (talk) 10:35, 13 October 2023 (UTC)
